This is what I learned from a app called the daily hope, so powerful!
To have integrity does not mean you are perfect, because if not, none of us would have it.
Integrity not only meant the choice between what’s right and what’s convenient, it is also about being one standard.
There shouldn’t be such thing a secret life existing. We shouldn’t segment our lives into different parts or have double, triple standard. This shows that our life is not of a whole. Integrity is about having wholeness and meaning that we are the same person with everyone. Wherever and whenever.
We’re interested in image, but God is interested in integrity.
We’re interested in reputation, but God is interested in character.
Integrity is what you really are. Reputation is what you are in public, what everyone thinks you are.
Integrity is what you are when you’re all alone with God.
When the stage is bare tonight
There’s no one else
Just You and me
When the curtains close behind
There’s no pretense
I’m on my knees
The God I know – City Harvest
Whatever this verse of the song speaks of is so true, there’s nothing that we could hide or even try to deny to Him. He’s the all knowing God, He knows what we are thinking of. He knows the exact number of hairs on our head. He knows the troubles and hurt we experienced. God sees and knows everything. We are who we really are when no one is watching. And whatever we do in our private life will be shown public. Anything in the dark will come to light.
In Pslam 139:7, David says “Where can I go from Your Spirit? Where can I flee from Your Presence?” God is ommipresent.
